Jeff,
Do you feel better after a good week of vacation ? No computer at all.

I do not have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, But I have a lot of your symptoms.

Specially Numbness and tingling and pains mostly in the legs for almost 3 years.
Like you I spent too much time in front of the computer for 25 years.

In my case I think it is the spinal cord.

I did few things that improved my problem starting one year ago:
- 30 minutes of swimming, 3 times per week.
- Work stand up most of the day.
- I just started taking lesson in the Alexander Technique, look it up in Google.

I just cannot stay 8 hours a day in a chair anymore, it just compress to much my lower back, the lower part of the spinal cord which create all numbness, tingling and pains mostly in the legs.
That is my idea obviously I am not a MD.
